Domaine La Suffrene Bandol Rouge 2011
- A blend of Mourvedre (55%), Grenache (20%), Cinsault (15%) & Carignan (10%).
- Domaine La Suffrene is a family estate that has been passed through the family for generations. A 50-hectare domaine spread across varying soils of sand, limestone, chalk and clay. Grapes harvested fromthe domaine were destined for the local co-op before Cedric Gravier, under the assistance of the grandfather, took control and began estate bottling.
- Cedric has built a new state of the art winery utilising stainless steel fermenters and large oak foudres.

'A blend of 55% Mourvedre, 20% Grenache, 15% Cinsault and 10% Carignan, the 2011 Bandol exhibits classic aromas and flavors of black cherries and assorted dark fruits, licorice and ample spice to go with a sweetly fruited, nicely balanced and overall fresh feel on the palate. Enjoy this excellent, medium-bodied effort over the coming 7-9 years.'
