Note: from the climats of La Cardeuse and Fairendes in a rough proportion of one-third to two-thirds There are interesting hints of grapefruit and rose petal, which are somewhat unusual for Morgeot, on the more typical aromas of apple, pear, petrol and resin scents. The beautifully rich big-bodied, dense and muscular flavors display a liqueur-like texture before terminating in a naturally sweet and persistent finish. The sweetness isn't intrusive and may very well decline with a few years of bottle age but overall this was less consistent with my stylistic preference. Drink: 2020+
