- A high density, terraced vineyard planted on granaitc soils. Only organic treatments are used in this vineyard.
- Grapes are handpicked, partially de-stemmed and undergo a natural fermentation before spending 18 months in barriques (225L barrels).
- This wine has a lovely structure due to its minerality and fine tannins. It is an early drinking style of Cornas.
'The clear winner in 2011 is the Cornas Vires. Smoke, violets, underbrush, spring flowers and licorice all emerge from this medium to full-bodied, rich and layered 2011. Showing bright acidity and fine tannin, it can be enjoyed anytime over the coming decade.Drink: 2013 - 2023'
