Moving to the 2014s, these are more fresh, elegant and lively than the 2015s, yet have impressive purity and precision. The 2014 Condrieu is another wine to back up the truck on. Flower oil, ripe peach, citrus blossom and hints of tangerine and orange blossom give way to a medium to full-bodied, layered and perfectly balanced Condrieu that will keep for 4-5 years. Drink: 2016-2021' (Dec16)

This Condrieu, with its pale yellow colour, is very aromatic and fresh, featuring peach and apricot flavours combined with a long finish. It is excellent as an aperitif and goes well with foie gras, seafood, green asparagus and with the famous goat cheese of Condrieu called “Rigottes”. This wine is delicious to drink immediately after release or a few years in the cellar.
