Another possibly outstanding effort, the 2013 Hermitage Classic (same élevage as the 2012) exhibits vibrant and juicy aromas and flavors of black cherries, raspberries, smoke and big minerality. This medium to full-bodied effort has bright acidity, notable tannin and a clean, focused finish. It should come together nicely once in bottle and drink well through 2025.
