What the Critics say
97% Syrah, 3% Viognier. Aged for 22 months in second- and third-use barrels. Cask sample.
Tasted blind. A lovely floral note here alongside blueberry and sweet spice. Chewy oak-derived tannins dominate the palate but there is sweet fruit and good layers of savouriness beneath. Good intensity of fruit, just needs to settle for a while. Drink: 2023-2032
