With a copper tinge and a lifted etheral perfume of currants, forest floor and thorny rosehips, interwoven with the dried stems of fescue grasses and dried herbs, including the richness of ripe cherry and dark fruits enhances the higher notes. Smells like summer.
The 2015 Pinot Noir comes from older plantings off the original Naboth’s Vineyard 1 Kings Ch. 21 as well as a new collection of modern clones from a planting further along the slope that we call “La Pouche”.
