Made from a blend of Syrah, Grenache and Carignan, the 2016 IGP Pays d’Oc le Pavillon is a full-bodied, expansive, even sexy beauty, offering terrific notes of cassis, black raspberries, spice and flowers. I love its overall balance, and it’s a joy to drink.

Château la Négly is one of the most highly rated Languedoc estates that can trace its roots back to 1773! In 2001, the Château started to lease the vineyards of their neighbour estate Domaine de Boède and finally acquired these vineyards in 2006. Most of their vineyards are located on the prime chalky terroir of La Clape, in sight of the Mediterranean, whose cooling breezes moderate the maturation.
