    Rhone-style red blend. ​​​​​​ This is a beautiful, perfect expression of plump juicy warming Grenache. This is the village level wine, and there is no need to look further in Rasteau. André Roméro is the legendary wine maker, now joined by his son and nephew. These are tiny yields, the grapes are 100% hand picked and the selective picking and extraordinary vinification process would suggest a product of twice the price. Robert Parker described the estate as "The superstar of Rasteau… drop-dead delicious red wines."

    What The Critics Say
    Flavors of preserved plums and black-cherry compote are accented by hints of cocoa powder, char and salty minerality here. Sourced from younger vines (10-30 years old) of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre and vinified entirely in stainless steel, it offers a similar intensity of fruit and savory nuances as prestige bottlings from this producer, but with a bit more ease for youthful enjoyment. Ready now but likely to improve through 2027 at least.
