Note: two-thirds of the vines are between 70 and 80 years of age and the remaining vines are approximately 20+ years old. The 2015 Savigny-lès-Beaune 1er Cru Les Dominodes is cut from the same cloth as the Aux Gravains, albeit with more floral scents and more red fruit. It is just as beautifully defined and seductive though. The palate is medium-bodied with silky smooth tannin, superb mineralité, immense cohesion and energy that spills over on the chalky-textured finish. This is (yet another) outstanding 2015 from Domaine Pavelot who frankly has done little wrong this vintage. Drink: 2019-2032
