What the Critics say
'Deepish red/purple colour with a floral, rose-petally bouquet that is aromatic and charming. A hint of potato peelings indicating stalk inclusion. The wine is medium-bodied and subtle, with notable acidity lending a trace of firmness to the palate. There's a touch of austerity. A delicious pinot, very enjoyable now, and as its best with food. Drink: 2020-2030'
Raised amongst the vines at Bannockburn, great food and fabulous wines are an important component in Nick Farr’s life. Nick has had vintage experience both in Australia and the USA over the past few years and last year was given the opportunity to make his own wine under the “Farr Rising” label.
