Even sweeter and more concentrated, the 2017 F Series Riesling Trockenbeerenauslese carries an impressive 315 grams per liter of residual sugar. Dried apricots, hints of mushroom and dried spices mark the nose of this super sweet, thick, rich wine. It will prove to be too much for some, and in fact, despite this wine's unctuousness and weight, I prefer the drinkability of the beerenauslese.
