A classic Bordeaux. A beautifully balanced wine with a complex flavor profile that showcases the unique terroir of the region. The fine tannins and notes of fresh fruit and toasted oak make it a great choice for pairing with a variety of dishes. Right blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. On the nose, the wine reveals notes of fleshy cassis, fresh red berries and a hint of raspberry, with a subtle hint of blackberry, violet, toasted oak, spices, mocha and licorice. On the palate, the wine is well-balanced, silky and offers juiciness, freshness, as well as a certain deepness. The tannins are fine and there's good length. The wine is fruity, well-built and gourmande, with a slight suavity and fat. In the mouth, the wine expresses notes of cassis, blackberry and slight notes of fresh raspberry, with hints of fresh red berries, cassis, toasted oak and dark chocolate.
“2015s are wonderfully sensual, exotic wines that should drink well relatively early and also reward aging” - Antonio Galloni
"The 2015 vintage is an extremely exciting year for Bordeaux, producing wines with exuberant fruit character and plenty of tannin backbone to give them form and tension. They have a unique ripe fruit character that remains cool and fresh. It’s an outstanding year with charisma. The wines of 2015 are wonderful in so many ways, they have a dynamism that make me want to buy some!" - James Suckling
