Stonegarden Single Origin Ale Central Barossa Valley 2025
$48.00
Description
The first Ale made by renown winemaker Ben Radford in a series to showcase the diversity of the microclimates and soils of the Barossa is our Central Barossa Valley, Single Origin Ale grown on the deep Red Brown Earth in the heart of the Barossa.
95 Points, Nick Ryan The Australian Weekend Magazine "From red-brown earth north of Nuriootpa. A softly hazy golden ale with lifted aromatics pointing towards pithy grapefruit, grilled pineapple, rolled oats and Smiths Original potato chips. The palate is softly creamy, really fine and focused. Lovely, fine, long, deftly bitter finish."
This ale pours golden with a green and yellow edge, finely-beaded, with a natural effervescence that lifts the earth-bound flavours of malt, warm spices, combined with candied pineapple, honeycomb, white melon and sea spray. The palate shows hints of nori, pine nuts with an umami lift. Finishing with a refreshing acidity and wild herbal notes that narrate the story of its origin: The sun-warmed Red Brown Earth and cool evening breezes.
