What the Critics say
“Here the wood treatment is more prominent though still reasonably subtle on the aromas of Granny Smith, anise and less obvious petrol nuances. The sleek, intense and beautifully delineated middleweight flavors flash an almost aggressive minerality on the bone-dry, austere and balanced finale. Lovely and understated.
“Spicier and more leesy than the St-Véran, so the ripeness of fruit is less immediately obvious, but still there. A little more stony/mineral too. There's more tension here, more refinement, wonderful freshness and very good length with a light spice note at the end.” - 17 Points, Julia Harding MW, JancisRobinson.com
