What the Critics say
Pale green-hued yellow. Aromas of fresh orchard and pit fruits are enlivened by lemon pith, honeysuckle and dusty mineral notes. Subtly sweet peach, melon and tangerine flavors show very good depth and sharp delineation. Closes very long, silky and precise, displaying resonating floral and mineral qualities and excellent persistence. I'd love to see this wine in a flight of Condrieu. Drink: 2018-2022 (May18)

The Viognier for this cuvée is sourced from vineyards in the village of Chavanay, again planted to granite-infused soil. The fermentations (alcoholic and malolactic) are done in stainless steel; then, the wines are racked into a mix of stainless steel cuves and small barrels for a six-month elevage before bottling.
