Tracing back to the 17th century, Domaine Talmard is one of the oldest continuously producing family run wine estates in southern Burgundy. It is also the premier domain in the 1000-year-old village of Chardonnay, which is perhaps best known for bestowing its name upon the world’s most illustrious white grape. With 30 hectares of vineyards in the villages of Chardonnay and Uchizy, Mallory Talmard and her husband Benjamin are producing classic white Burgundies with expertise and determination.
