The wine is matured in French oak barriques for 24 months and then aged in the bottle for over 2 years before release.
Of the '20: "This is really drinking beautifully now with a ripe strawberry, chocolate and walnut character as well as hints of wood in just the right amount. Full-bodied yet not heavy, with lots of polished, caressing tannins and focus. Serious wine to ponder. Drink or hold, but hard not to open." 96 Points, James Suckling
