On acidic soils, a rare occurrence in Provence, great red, white and rosé wines are produced in Rimauresq. Low yields, organic farming at one with the surrounding nature, gentle and precise vinification, and careful aging explain the unique character of their best vintages. Rimauresq takes its name from the ”Real Mauresque” which is the river which flows through the vineyards. Its exceptional ‘terroir’, recognised through its Cru Classé status, results in wines of elegance, complexity and purity.
