100% Certified Organic - Vivera Winery is based in Linguaglossa on the active Mount Etna Volcano, one of the most fascinating and magical places in Sicily. Vivera produces some astounding vintages boasting the finest hints of fruit, spice and flowers, and an incredible character imbued by the subtly balance mineralisation of the volcanic soil.
Loredana Vivera of Vivera Wines comes from a family of grape and olive growers in Chiaramonte Gulfi and Corleone. Among the many sustainable initiatives (that include printing labels on paper made from algae) and organic principles that she follows, Loredana also redesigned the cantina work spaces to incorporate a system of Chromotherapy. Loredana Vivera has taken over took over the family winery since 2019, realizing her dream to bring in the winery and in her wines the Sicilian culture together with the beauty of Sicilian nature and the majesty of the Etna volcano. The location is matchless, here at Linguaglossa, on the north-eastern side of Mount Etna, the vines are given everything they need to develop into a truly unique wine: Sunny, warm during the day, and cooling air in the evening, rich, volcanic soil and sufficient moisture absorbed from the sea by the volcano.
