They are pinot noir specialists, with chardonnay of equal standing in importance if not in numbers of individual bottlings. Shiraz and viognier are also produced, at a level of quality and character on par with the pinots and chardonnays. Nick Farr also produces an excellent gamay and a rosé style named Saignée under the Farr Rising label. These wines and others produced in the past year see the Farrs at the top of their game.
