What The Critics Say
Very true to the Nebbiolo grape, the Cantina del Pino 2018 Barbaresco Albesani reveals an especially bright and lifted character with tart berry fruit and crushed roses. Poised for long cellar aging, the wine is coiled tight in terms of tannins and texture at this young stage in its drinking window. Give it ample time to unwind. Drink: 2023-2028.

Cantina del Pino
The Vacca family has been living and working the vines at Cantina del Pino, one of the oldest estates in Barbaresco, since the 1920s when Giuseppe Vacca, bought the property from his friend, the legendary agronomist and director of the Royal Enological School in Alba, Domizio Cavazza.
The family's vineyards are concentrated around the Ovello hill. The site is known for its combination of cooler microclimate and unique soils blending limestone with sandy veins and a high calcium content, the perfect conditions for an elegant, age-worthy Barbaresco.
We offer free shipping to most of Australia for all orders over $199 or $12 flat rate for orders under. Some regional areas may incur an extra shipping charge which is calculated at checkout based on your postcode.
