What The Critics Say
The Cantina del Pino 2019 Barbaresco Gallina is also quite subtle and delicate. This wine plays to the smaller nuances of Nebbiolo with violet, iris, dusty limestone and wild currant. The tannins are silky, and the wine feels soft and satin-like to the palate. A precious few 2,000 bottles were created. Drink: 2024 - 2040.

Cantina del Pino
The Vacca family has been living and working the vines at Cantina del Pino, one of the oldest estates in Barbaresco, since the 1920s when Giuseppe Vacca, bought the property from his friend, the legendary agronomist and director of the Royal Enological School in Alba, Domizio Cavazza.
The family's vineyards are concentrated around the Ovello hill. The site is known for its combination of cooler microclimate and unique soils blending limestone with sandy veins and a high calcium content, the perfect conditions for an elegant, age-worthy Barbaresco.
We offer free shipping to most of Australia for all orders over $199 or $12 flat rate for orders under. Some regional areas may incur an extra shipping charge which is calculated at checkout based on your postcode.
