92 Points, Jeb Dunnuck "Pale yellow colour with green hints. Rich nose of white daisy flowers and citrus fruit. Fresh on the palate, withvwhite fruits and vanilla aromas. Easy drinking, harmonious and crisp wine. ''White flowers, lemon blossom, hints of spice, and light minerality all emerge from the Marsanne. It’s a fresh, clean, classy white that's nicely balanced and silky on the palate.'' (Previous Vintage Review)

    What The Critics Say
This sits nicely alongside ripe stone fruits with added complexity. Powerful palate, lots of flavour intensity, showing honeydew melon, savoury tones, flint, guava and lime. Seamless and flowing into a long finish. A bargain, too!

    ABOUT THIS BRAND

    Cave de Tain

Founded in 1933 Cave de Tain is located at the foot of the hill of Hermitage between Valencia and Lyon. The historic vineyard is a local co-op with over 300 grower-members and 1000 hectares of vineyards making it the main producer of wines in Northern Rhône Valley. On the left bank of the Rhône, between Lyon and Valence, the Hermitage hill dominates the Crozes-Hermitage appellation. From north to south, the vineyards of Saint-Joseph, Cornas and Saint-Péray spread out on terraces, on the right bank. On these five cru vineyards, as in Collines Rhodaniennes, the winegrowers of the Cave de Tain l'Hermitage offer an unrivalled variety of plantings in the vineyard, with access to all terroirs.
