Château Palmer
Château Palmer is a renowned Third Growth estate in the Margaux appellation of Bordeaux, France. Established in 1814 by British General Charles Palmer, it was originally known as Château de Gascq. The estate spans 55 hectares and is planted predominantly with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, complemented by a touch of Petit Verdot. Under the stewardship of Thomas Duroux since 2004, Château Palmer has embraced biodynamic viticulture and produces wines celebrated for their elegance, complexity, and aging potential. The estate also produces Alter Ego de Palmer, a second label offering an earlier-drinking style.
