Description
A wine well balanced between sweetness and liveliness, aromas of fresh fruit (apricot, mango, very ripe pineapple), honey and cinnamon and the finish is lively and fresh.
Made from 100% Petit Manseng, Jurancon Clos Uroulat is made from tiny yields (25hl/ ha) partially dried on the vines and harvested in several passes in November. with dry and windy weather conditions here there is no Botrytis so the wines display a very fresh structure. The winemaking is slow with gentle pressing, fermentation and aging for 10 months in barrels with 20% new oak on average.
The wine is sweet but with a high level of vibrant acicidty which delivers good balance and elegance with notes of dried fruits, white stone fruits, quince and orange peel. It can be enjoyed as aperitif or in support of: foie gras, savory pies, cheeses, fruit desserts, pancakes, almong cakes and pudding.

The estate had existed since 1775. Nothing would have been possible without the precious help of family and friends in the first years.
His vision as a winemaker: he does not simply see winemaking as a profession, but as a vocation. His vision is to create wines that transcend terroir, capturing the very essence of the soil and climate with the unique Gros Manseng and Petit Manseng grape varieties that characterize Jurançon.
We offer free shipping to most of Australia for all orders over $199 or $12 flat rate for orders under. Some regional areas may incur an extra shipping charge which is calculated at checkout based on your postcode.
