The vineyard is located next to Margaret River and has a maritime climate, intermediate to that of Bordeaux and Napa Valley. The vine roots explore the ironstone rich gravelly soil, which sits above a highly permeable ironstone cap rock, resulting in a well drained and healthy soil. It is the intersection of soil, climate and vine which provides this extraordinary fruit.
