Operated by the Ferrand family, whose roots trace back to 1702, the estate is famous for using 100% Ugni Blanc grapes and traditional distillation on fine lees. The family lineage and distillation legacy dates back to 1702, when ancestor Jacques Ferrand first distilled his harvests. The craft has been passionately passed down for over 300 years, 11 generations. The modern brand was propelled to prominence by the 10th generation, Pierre Ferrand, who began releasing estate-bottled cognacs under the Pierre de Segonzac name. Today, the estate is managed by his son, Pablo Ferrand.
