Description
“Yves Cuilleron has become one of the bright shining stars of the northern Rhone” - Wine Enthusiast Magazine
The Cuilleron Marsanne is a pleasant and aromatic wine. Nose composed of white fruits, delicate flowers and citrus peels. It is well-balanced, fresh on the palate to finish with notes of bitter spices. Perfectly paired with fish or goats cheese dishes.
''Shows considerable richness and texture. A full-flavoured, delicious wine. It’s a compelling wine which changes and evolves in the glass.'' Gourmet Traveller Wine Guide (Previous Vintage Review)
''Aromas of fresh citrus and orchard fruits are joined by minerals and florals. Round and velvety on the palate, offering ripe pear, orange and honey flavors that show very good clarity and floral lift. The pear and floral notes carry through the supple, clinging finish, which leaves a hint of fresh fig behind.'' Josh Raynolds, Vinous Media (Previous Vintage Review)
ABOUT DOMAINE YVES CUILLERON
Yves Cuilleron succeeded his uncle, Antoine, in 1987. This highly regarded domaine has been steadily expanding. With vineyard holdings of only 3.5 hectares when Yves Cuilleron assumed control, he is now pushing toward 100 hectares with vines in every Northern Rhône appellation, save for Hermitage. Cuilleron is not shy about using new oak, but the percentage has been throttled back over the last decade, which is a positive result. Cuilleron travels extensively to benchmark, and his wines are highly sought after worldwide.
