The Barone di Villagrande Etna Bianco Superiore 2024 is a highly regarded, premium Carricante-based wine from Milo, characterized by intense minerality, vibrant acidity, and notes of citrus, sage, and thyme. Recently awarded 3 Bicchieri by Gambero Rosso, it offers a fresh, balanced structure, making it a stellar example of volcanic Sicilian white wine.
Persistent floral aromatics and fresh white fruits lead into a harmonious, elegant palate. Bright, pronounced acidity is balanced by a lingering mineral drive, giving the wine structure and impressive ageing potential. Ideal with shellfish, raw seafood and semi-aged cheeses.

Barone di Villagrande is one of the most historic and pioneering wineries on Mount Etna in Sicily, with a winemaking legacy that dates back to 1727. Located in Milo on the eastern slopes of the volcano at 700 meters above sea level, the estate is renowned for its volcanic wines and for being the first to produce modern red and white wines on Etna.
