Description
90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc. With a beautiful garnet colour, the wine opens with discreet notes of smoke, followed by powerful aromas of black fruits, blackberry, blackcurrant, associated with touches of pepper. The attack is pleasant, smooth, the structure shows a nice balance between controlled power and freshness. The finish is tender and long with notes of liquorice.

Rich and full-bodied, it has ripe tannins and outstanding length. It pushes on the ripeness scale, yet I’ve no doubt it’s going to show more freshness and elegance from bottle."

Chateau Haut Brisson
Château Haut-Brisson is an esteemed Saint-Émilion Grand Cru estate located in the Bordeaux region of France. Established in 1997 by Peter Kwok and his daughter Elaine, it was their first acquisition in the Vignobles K portfolio. The estate spans 18 hectares across the villages of Saint-Émilion, Saint-Sulpice-de-Faleyrens, Vignonet, and Libourne, with the château and winemaking facilities situated in Vignonet.
The vineyard predominantly cultivates Merlot (approximately 90%) complemented by Cabernet Franc (10%), both varieties characteristic of the Saint-Émilion Grand Cru appellation. The terroir encompasses diverse soils, including clay-limestone and sandy-clay, contributing to the complexity and depth of the wines .
