Château La Fleur de Boüard Lalande-de-Pomerol 2011 is a polished, Merlot-driven Bordeaux that reflects the finesse of the de Boüard family’s winemaking. The vintage delivers supple dark-berry fruit, plum, and black cherry layered with notes of cedar, cocoa, and a touch of graphite, all supported by fine, silky tannins. Medium-bodied yet structured, it balances maturity and freshness, offering gentle evolution with hints of truffle and earthy spice emerging on the finish. This 2011 is drinking beautifully now, showing both elegance and complexity typical of the Right Bank.

16.7 hectares with clay-loam topsoil and gravelly subsoil on The plateau of Néac and 8,5 hectares in one block on a fabulous gravelly mound which includes 15% to 20% of clay on The plateau of Pomerol.

Château La Fleur de Boüard represents the brilliant harvest that resulted from the seed planted by the de Boüard family in this vineyard in 1998. Benefitting from the inventive know-how of Hubert and Coralie de Boüard, supported by their technical director Philippe Nunes, Château La Fleur de Boüard has flourished and become the flagship of the Lalande-de-Pomerol appellation.
