The Racines Blanc is a blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Romorantin, Chardonnay and Menu Pineau. Textured and saline with herb tinged aromas of green apple, white flowers, preserved lemon and stoney minerality. A textured and saline white wine with herbaceous aromas of green apple, white flowers, preserved lemon, and stony minerality. This balanced and complex cuvée is crafted from a blend of Chardonnay, Menu de Pineau, Sauvignon Blanc, and Romoratin, highlighting the finesse of Loire Valley terroir.

ABOUT CLAUDE COURTOIS 

Claude Courtois of Les Cailloux du Paradis has 13 hectares of previously abandoned vines in Soings-en-Sologne, near Cheverny which he tends biodynamically, cultivating cult sulphur-free wines from varieties including Romorantin, Pineau d'Aunis, Côt, Pinot Noir and many others. The wines are fermented spontaneously - long  and slow - and bottled without racking, fining or filtration.
