This Malbec AOC Cahors 18-24 months is a subtle mix of fruit with an elegant tannin structure. A wine that is sure to provide pleasure, it has a beautiful bright red color with a bouquet of summer flowers as well as powerful red and black fruit aromas: raspberry, blackcurrant, and blackberry. The wine is very fruity with rich, buttery tannin on the palate. Round, attractive and inviting, it makes a fine aperitif! The Pigmentum 100% Malbec is a selection of the best Malbecs grown on the highest gravely and clay terraces of the Cahors Appellation, situated between the large loops of the Lot River, in the Southwest of France.
This is the perfect wine to accompany everyday’s meals as well as more elaborate dishes such as roast pork, leg of lamb.

Founded in 1887, Maison Georges Vigouroux was a pioneer in wines of from the south west of France. Located between the Mediterranean and the Atlantic Ocean, rainfall and humidity levels are optimal for the quality of their vines. This family owned company, now in it's 4th generation, produces a range of Cahor and Malbec wines from their four wineries as well as running an Agrotourism business incorporating the Chateau De Mercues Hotel and a Michelin starred restaurant. Georges Vigouroux was awarded Gold & Silver at the Global Malbec Masters 2022. Now, Georges’ son, Bertrand-Gabriel Vigouroux, continues his father’s work. He aims to achieve excellence with high-density replanting,the use of eco-friendly vine-growing and tending techniques, ageing in new oak barrels, and trials with wood from different origins to continue the family tradition in the 21st century.
