The 2022 Jeff Cohn Cellars Domaine des Chirats Syrah is a high-elevation Rockpile (Sonoma County) wine, produced in collaboration with Northern Rhône winemaker Yves Cuilleron. Known for its savory, peppery, and mineral-driven profile, this $100+, limited-production, full-bodied Syrah is aged in French oak (roughly 30% new) and features 30% whole-cluster fermentation, offering aromas of blackberries, violets, and graphite.

Jeff Cohn Yves Cuilleron Domaine des Chirats
Domaine des Chirats is a collaborative wine project between Jeff Cohn and Yves Cuilleron, launched around 2013. It brings together: California fruit from Rockpile Vineyard (Sonoma) and Northern Rhône winemaking influence from Yves Cuilleron.
The goal is to create a Syrah that blends New World power with Old World elegance - essentially a cross-continental expression of the grape. The project is led by two well-known winemakers:
Jeff Cohn – an American winemaker based in Sonoma, known for Rhône-style wines (especially Syrah and Zinfandel).
Yves Cuilleron – a leading producer from France’s Northern Rhône, particularly Côte-Rôtie and Condrieu.
We offer free shipping to most of Australia for all orders over $199 or $12 flat rate for orders under. Some regional areas may incur an extra shipping charge which is calculated at checkout based on your postcode.
