"Puro Rofe's wines are always in the reductive spectrum, with a cordite whiff, but then gloriously fresh and vital fruit that sings on the palate. Lots of mineral suggestions here: saline but far from lean, the fruit filling the mid palate. This threw a little tartaric sediment at the end of the bottle, so you may wish to decant. Malvasía Volcánica from organic vineyards, made with natural yeasts, fermented and aged eight months in barrel." 93 Points Decanter

The 2022 Tinasoria is a new white in 2022. It is named after the highest volcano in La Geria, a place that was mostly abandoned by most growers due to the steep terrain and high altitude. It's also a very windy place, and the winds make the grapes ripen early and keep very good health. The grapes were harvested very early, the 19th of July. The variety is 100% Malvasía Volcánica, and the wine is ashy, stony and mineral; and there are no traces of exuberance or even the tiniest concession to perfume. It has a moderate 11.5% alcohol and is saline, sharp and austere beyond the character of the year. Only 350 bottles were produced in this first vintage.

Puro Rofe is a family-run winery based in Lanzarote, one of Spain's Canary Islands, where vineyards are planted in black volcanic ash formed by historic eruptions. The estate works predominantly with old, ungrafted vines of indigenous varieties such as Listán Blanco, Malvasía Volcánica and Listán Negro, many grown in the island's distinctive hoyo vineyards—shallow craters dug into the volcanic soils and protected by semicircular stone walls from the Atlantic winds. Through low-intervention winemaking, Puro Rofe produces wines that reflect the island's unique volcanic terroir, combining freshness, mineral character and remarkable precision.
