In recent years there has been a resurgence and a new energy in Ingelheim and Simone Adams has been at the forefront of the revolution. Dr Simone Adams who draws on her family’s years of knowledge in biodynamic and regenerative viticulture and garnished it with her own insights and innovations from her oenology degree. Adams Wein is based in the Ingelheim is the Rheinhessen and grows Spätburgunder (Pinot Noir) and Weissburgunder (Pinot Blanc) in the region’s famous limestone soils.
Adams Wines are in an incomparable position, which is the reason why their passion is almost exclusively for Pinot varieties. Ingelheim is located in the northern part of the Mainz Basin - one of the most limestone-dominated wine landscapes in Rheinhessen. This extraordinary geological formation forms the basis of their terroir. Wine of this origin is as recognised in Germany as it is sought after in the international wine scene. Carefully crafted with biodynamic and regenerative viticulture, all Adams wines are the result of creative and dedicated engagement with nature.
