Planted: 2024 – Grafted onto 25 year old Shiraz root stock

Winemaker: Josh Waechter
Josh’s Tasting Notes: Hand harvested and gently pressed to retain freshness and purity of fruit. The free run juice was fermented with a carefully selected yeast to enhance the wine’s floral character and build mid palate texture, while the pressings were barrel fermented and underwent malolactic fermentation, adding richness and complexity. The result is a Pinot Gris with more than just fresh fruit and acidity. Aromatic and lifted, with floral notes and ripe pear, the palate has genuine texture and weight, with a supple, creamy mid palate leading to a fresh, savoury finish.

The quality starts with understanding the soil, topography and micro-climates in the vineyard.
